Dear Springer Family,

The death of our Siegfried Springer, my best friend, had impacted me deeply. I am so happy that I was able to meet with him in September of last year at Bad Sooden. (see photo). Siegfried was always near and dear to me and the older I got the closer I felt to him. What importance he had for me can be learned by reading the enclosed article “The Confessions of Bishop Siegfried Springer” He was a man of strong masculine words. The following words from him had a deep impression on me, guided me and I will never forget them: “When dealing with the Bible everything is dependent upon interpretation.” And as far as for me personally, his prayer to God “Lord, keep an eye on him and give him daily what he needs the most!”

Now he is resting in God, in whose hand we all fall, and that is our comfort.

Your,

Manfred Brockmann

PS I received a letter from Siegfried Springer on January 22, 2019 and in it he stated: “ He never lets us go and doesn’t let us fall…”
